Community Foundation Network
The philanthropic “marketplace” is growing significantly as well as ever changing. The Community Foundation Network (CFN) supports Community Foundations which are the largest independent funders of community activity in the UK and with 56 members the network reaches 94% of the population. Community Foundations support the giving of over 12,000 clients including long-term endowed funds totalling £158m (March 2007).

CFN asked Martin Farrell to develop a project for Community Foundations which came to be called ‘Know and be Known’ – know the impact of what you are doing and tell donors and other stakeholders about it.
