Academy of Social Sciences
The Academy responds to consultations on
behalf of the social science community, and organises seminars on topics
that span social science disciplines in order to promote social science
and enhance its value to society.
A number of important meetings were imminent, the office was about to move to London and the Academy’s strategy was in the process of review. And the chief executive officer was about to leave after two years.
We produced a short term action plan to deal with the immediate imperatives, managed the recruitment of an interim Director and helped put some wind in the sails of the emerging strategic direction. It was an engagement of a little over a month but helped the Academy turn the corner ...
